About this Website

Dedication

The Matulka Family Tree website is dedicated to the memory of all the Matulka family ancestors who have gone before us. Without their sacrifices and perserverence, none of us would be here today. We remember them with great affection and salute their lives. We will never forget them.

A special dedication goes to Frank Matulka Sr. and his family who gave up everything in Moravia (including family and friends), endured unpleasant ship conditions across the Atlantic and bravely started a new life with nothing more than hope and hard work in the United States in 1877. Today every one of us descendents appreciates that act of courage.

Purpose

The purpose of the Matulka Family Tree website is honor, sharing and education:

• Honor for all of our ancestors,
• Sharing for all the family members who do not get to see each other as much as they would like, and
• Education to help us learn more about family members we never knew we had (both living and deceased). I hope, especially, that this living website can help the newest and youngest members of the family share in the Matulka history.

Collaboration and Updates

As the family is constantly evolving and growing so too must the Matulka Family Tree website continually evolve and grow. All family members are encourgaged to collaborate by providing new information and updates.
